Buburuza is a payments platform. You verify once — as a company or as an individual — and get an account that holds fiat and stablecoin balances, funds over local and international rails, and pays out to people and businesses you name.
Buburuza is a financial technology company, not a bank. Regulated money movement is performed by licensed partners, and balances are not covered by deposit insurance. See Legal and regulatory.

Before you start

Two limits are worth knowing up front, because they decide whether the platform can serve you at all:
  • Availability. Onboarding serves companies registered in the United States or Canada, and individuals resident in those two countries. There is no waiting list for other countries yet.
  • Verification gates money. Until your verification passes and your payment account activates, you can sign in and complete onboarding, but you cannot hold or move funds.
